I develop lighting plans for single rooms, whole houses, and professional offices.
These plans include:

• Concept and Design Consult: Discussion with client about the functions performed in the spaces, the design of the furnishings, and thus how to best light the spaces for task, ambient, and mood lighting.
• Reflected Ceiling Plans: Architectural drafting to show exact placement of all recessed, ceiling, and pendant lighting.
• Elevations of the walls: Show placement of wall sconces, outlets, and switch plates.
• Floor plans: Show placement of floor outlets to accommodate table lamps and floor lamps.
• On-Site Consultation: Consultation on site rather than using architectural plans.
• Electrical Walk-Through: Working with the electrician to insure electrical devices are being properly placed.
• Fixture Specifications: Selection of specific fixtures from catalogues or showrooms and writing the orders to ensure all details are correct.
• Lighting Control: Specifying all on/off devices, dimmers, panels for grouping, specific devices to be grouped, and locating all of these for the electrician.
